We keep the plan simple and we make it visual. It's vital to select the right initiatives, in the right order and not too many which can be discouraging at the start and result in lack of focus.

"Start small" is often the best way to succeed; get some first quick wins from the root ground through running a couple of demo projects as experimentation and make it grow into the organisation as the maturity improves.
